Feudal Freedom
I don't think it was worth it. I would rather be free and survive by myself. " The other, unfree peasants lived on the land without paying any money, but worked for the lord, earning their stay."

I don't think it was worth it because i'd rather be free to do what ever i want and survive on my own self.so that way i would eat, drink and do things that are in the boundaries of the law.

It wasn't worth having security over freedom. I wouldn't want to work for someone else for a place to stay and for free.I'd rather work for myself and survive on my own.

I think it wasn't worth it because being free would give you the right to choose how too live.I would rather be alive and free than to live under the kings control. The lord also had a great deal of control over his peasants, known as serfs. In fact, the serfs were almost like slaves to the feudal lord.

I don't think it was worth it. It would be better to be free than having security. Like Yadira said, the slaves are pretty much like slaves. I would rather go off free and survive on my own.

Altough feudalism broght stability, it was unreasonable in some situations. I did bring the land toghether after the fall of rome, but the lower-classed people were treated unfairly. Some overworked peasents died of starvation. Even if it did bring the land toghether, I dissagree that feudalism should have started.

i agree w/ abby i too don't think itz worth having security, instead of freedom. plus i'd rather be free than to work for the king night and day:( Like if he had a bad dream, or if he wants to be tucked in.... just kidding. like if he needed help w/ farming and stuff like that;)

Feudal society was not worth it.You would have to work for a place to stay.I would rather be free than have that much security. You couldn't even live how you wanted.I would like to survive with my own adaptation and not the manors."The feudal society was constructed for one reason:Security"Thats why i don't like it.

I don't think that the feudal system was worth it because its not fair to work even though they were free. Another thing is they didn't give them a choice, I mean to work to stay and to work to be free thats not at all fair.

I think it was worth it in some cases because it helped society. It is just like working for a living. You would work on the lords land for a living space on his land. At least you would have somewhere to go after a long days work. Securtiy would be better than a lot of jobless people running around loking for a place to stay and a job."Without it there would be no law".

I would rather be free thn working just to stay and not get payed.

I don't believe that people should be under control. Because lots of peasants died on the land.

Even though it might be rough working for the king, i'd rather have protection.I wouldn't want to have annonomous people come beat me up for no reason! that would be just weird. P.S. Mr. Ludwin, if your'e reading this what were we supposed to comment about on the first one? Just asking. also remember i'm in your 6th period class:)
