I agree with marlow. I would give up my security for freedom. But if you had security your protected. and if your free you dont have to pay for anything you have to survive on your own.

no. because if you have freedom, you will survive on your own. you also need security to survive the war. woriking for the noble will be fine but dying in war isn't.

No because i would also give up my security for my freedom. you would be protected if you had security and you dont have to pay for anything you just have to survive on your own.

No, i agree with jsalispan (whoever the heck that is), if you had freedom you could go somewhere else and survive on your own instead of just standing there protecting people, & the chances of dying while protecting are like really high, you know what i mean??

No they did not make a good choice on giving up their freedom. Choosing your freedom is a good choice because you could just move on and survive on your own and you'll have a better life then protecting people.

I would want security because if you went on you own you wouldn't make it that long. Where would you get food? Also you would propably get captured.

I think it was worth it, to have all that protection. Even though you gave up many freedoms for his security. Back in those times, not having security and thinking you could walk from one place to another and it would be fine, wasn't that easy. There were constant ambushes, and roads were never really protected. Surviving on your own was very difficult, almost everywhere you passed would be at war with some place, so it wouldn't be wise for you to leave your protection in the manor. I would of much rather have stayed working on a field all day and have family and protection than walked out to try to find somewhere else, and be instantly hit with an arrow if I step in the wrong place. Fuedalism's protection was indeed worth it, in my opinion, because the Middle Ages were a time of war. Not just a time you can decide to leave your home.

Ugh, unfortunate, but since I have to post twice, and no one is posting again, sorry for the double-post...
I do not agree with Marlow, why would it be wise for you to step out into unknown territory by yourself, without protection when everyone is at war and assassins are everywhere?

HappyFace777 said...

no, i too agree with marlow.it was an intelligent decision to give up security for freedom.you could capture people and make them slaves!

michelle said...

I dont agree with giving up my freedom for security. When you dont need the security anymore you are going to want your freedom back.

I think that they should have stayed the way they were, securety was important, but was it so important to give up your freedom. Many of them shuold have kept freedom and found a way to work togather to live and surive.

I do agree with marlow and hannah oh yeah hi hannah because they both have my answer in one and because they the people couldve found another way to living unfree than to be livig free for once so yeah i would give up my secuity for freedom in a flash.

I would say no, because i would rather be free, than forced to do things. Even though you wont be safe, which won't be so good without security....You would be able to di whatever you like:)

I also agree with marlow because being free is much more important than having protection.

umm sorry for double posting, I still agree with marlow. Maybe because whats the point of having protection if U cant do what U want when U want.

I would continue to argue, which is what this is supposed to be, an arguement/debate.
But it's 9:30 now, and my point is made in my semi-long paragraph.
So I'm going to sleep. You guys have fun walking around and getting shot, trying to "get by" alone. I'll chill in my manor, work on the field, hang out with my family, and be safe.
Oh, and I wouldn't be getting shot or captured, that's always nice.

i agree with alexis and michelle. They are indeed very intelligent human beings.

i would like to be safe and work for the king, than having my house get robbed everyday, and live with nothing in the house.iwouldn't like that at all.

I too agree with Marlow, I would give up security for freedom. If you had security that means that you are protected also if your free you would not have to buy or pay for anything and you would have to do everything by yourself, like surviving on your own.
